ትምህርት ሚኒስቴር ለሁሉም የመንግሥት ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች እና ለሁሉም የግል ከፍተኛ ትምህርት ተቋማት በላከውና ቲክቫህ ኢትዮጵያ በተመለከተው ደብዳቤ ፤ የዲግሪ ህትመትን በሚመለከት ጥብቅ ማሳሰቢያ አስተላልፏል።

በዚህም ፦
- ተቋማት ሊሰራላቸው የሚገባውን ሰርተፊኬት ይዘት (በውስጡ የሚገልጹ ይዘቶችን፣ ሎጎዎችን እና ተጨማሪ መብት ያላቸው ጉዳዮች) በማካተት እጅግ ቢዘገይ እስከ ነሐሴ 08/2017 ዓ/ም ባሉት ቀናት እንዲያሳውቁ አሳስቧል።

- የመውጫ ፈተና ከተጀመረ ጊዜ ወዲህ ያለውን ህትመት የሚዘጋጀው የመውጫ ፈተናውን ላለፉት ተማሪዎች ብቻ በመሆኑ ይህንን ታሳቢ በማድረግ በተቀመጠው የጊዜ ሰሌዳ እንዲያሳውቁ ለመጨረሻ ጊዜ ጥብቅ ማሳሰቢያ ሰጥቷል። ይህን በማያሳውቁ ተቋሟት ኃላፊነቱን የተቋሙ የበላይ አመራር የሚወስድ እንደሆነ አስገንዝቧል።

ትምህርት ሚኒስቴር ከዚህ ቀደም የመንግሥት እና የግል ከፍተኛ ትምህርት ተቋማት የዲግሪ ማስረጃ ወይንም ሰርተፊኬት ህትመት በሀገር አቀፍ ደረጃ በማዕከል እንዲታተም ማሳወቁና ከ2017 ዓ/ም ጀምሮም የሚመረቁ እና ከዚህ በፊትም ተመርቀው መረጃውን ያልወሰዱ ከተመረቁ ጊዜ ጀምሮ ህትመቱ በማዕከል ተከናውኖ በዩኒቨርሲቲው ወይንም በተቋሙ በኩል የሚሰራ ወይም የሚሰጥ መሆኑን መግለጹ ይታወሳል።

The Ministry of Education, in a letter sent to all public universities and all private higher education institutions regarding Tikvah Ethiopia, has issued a strict reminder concerning the printing of degrees.

Accordingly:

Institutions are reminded to communicate, by no later than August 14, 2025 (Nehase 08, 2017 E.C.), the appropriate certificate content they are required to prepare, including the information to be displayed, logos, and other matters that have additional rights.

From the start of the exit exam onwards, the printing of certificates shall only be done for students who have passed the exit exam. Institutions are given a final strict reminder to communicate this according to the set schedule. Institutions that fail to do so will have their top leadership held responsible.

It is to be recalled that the Ministry of Education had previously informed both public and private higher education institutions that the printing of degrees or certificates at the national level should be centralized. Starting from 2017 E.C., graduates — and also those who graduated earlier but had not received their information — will have their certificates printed centrally, and the printing and issuance will be carried out through the university or institution.
