የአዲስ አበባ ትራንስፖርት ቢሮ " ከኢሬቻ አከባበር ጋር ተያይዞ ለመንገድ ትራንስፖርት ደህንነት ሲባል ከእለተ ዓርብ መስከረም 23 ቀን 2018 ዓ.ም ከቀኑ 5:00 እስከ እስከ ቅዳሜ መስከረም 24 ቀን 2018 ማታ 12፡00 ድረስ በአዲስ አበባ ከተማ የሞተር ብስክሌት የትራንስፖርት አገልግሎት ተክልክሏል " ሲል አሳውቋል።

የትራንስፖርት፣ የትራፊክ ተቆጣጣሪዎች እና የትራፊክ ፖሊሶችም አፈፃፀሙን ተግባራዊ እንዲያደርጉ መልዕክት ተላልፎላቸዋል።

In connection with the Irreecha festival being celebrated in Addis Ababa, restrictions have been imposed on motorcycle operations.

The Addis Ababa Transport Bureau announced: “For the sake of road transport safety during the Irreecha celebrations, from Friday, Meskerem 23, 2018 E.C. (October 2, 2025) at 5:00 AM until Saturday, Meskerem 24, 2018 E.C. (October 3, 2025) at 12:00 midnight, the use of motorcycles for transport services within Addis Ababa will be restricted.”

Transport officials, traffic controllers, and traffic police have also been instructed to implement the directive effectively.
