As part of its newly announced 3-Year Strategic Plan and 5-Year Roadmap, NIB International Bank has officially launched its new online super app—NibTera—on Hamle 5, 2017 E.C. (July 12, 2025).


This major initiative is one of the bank’s key strategic goals, aimed at delivering seamless, convenient, and efficient services to its customers.

🧾 What is NibTera?
NibTera is an all-in-one digital platform designed to:

Offer banking services more easily and efficiently

Facilitate purchases and payments via mobile devices

Enable users to access financial tools without visiting a physical branch

The app is now live and fully operational.

In his message during the launch, CEO Mr. Henok Kebede emphasized that the bank is committed to delivering results-driven, technology-based services that meet the expectations of modern customers. He added that the new strategic plan will serve as a framework for impactful results, developed collaboratively with shareholders and clients.

🔧 Built with Internal Capacity
Developed entirely in-house, NibTera was rolled out through the coordinated efforts of NIB’s staff and leadership team. According to Board Chairperson Mr. Shisema Shewaneka, the board has officially approved the new plan and the app is now entering implementation.

ንብ ኢንተርናሽናል ባንክ አዲስ ይፋ ባደረገው የሦስት ዓመት ስትራቴጂ ዕቅድና የአምስት ዓመት ፍኖተ ካርታ ውስጥ ካቀዳቸው ዋና ዋና ተግባራት መካከል አንዱ የሆነውን ንብተራ ኦንላይን መተግበሪያ የማብሰሪያ መርሐ ግብር አካሄደ፡፡

ይህ ለደንበኞች የተሟላ፣ ምቹ፣ ቀላልና ቀልጣፋ አገልግሎት መስጠት የሚያስችለው ንብተራ ኦንላይን ሱፐር አፕ መተግበሪያ ከሐምሌ 05 ቀን 2017 ዓ.ም ጀምሮ ሥራ ላይ እንዲውል ተደርጓል፡፡

መተግበርያው ደንበኞች ከባንክ አገልግልት በተጨማሪ ግብይቶችንና ክፍያዎችን በቀላሉ የእጅ ስልካቸውን ብቻ በመጠቀም መፈጸም እንደሚያስችላቸው በዚሁ የማብሰሪያ መርሃ ግብር ላይ ተገልጻል፡፡

በመርሐ ግብሩ ላይ ተገኝተው መልዕክት ያስተላለፉት የባንኩ ዋና ሥራ አስፈጻሚ አቶ ሔኖክ ከበደ ባስተላለፉት መልዕክት ባንኩ ለደንበኞቹ ዘመኑ የሚፈልገውን ቴክኖሎጂ በመጠቀም በውጤት የታጀበ አገልግልት ለመስጠት ጥረቱን አጠናክሮ እንደሚቀጥል የገለጹ ሲሆን አዲሱ የሦስት ዓመት ስትራቴጂክ ዕቅድም ከባለድርሻ አካላትና ከመላው ደንበኞቹ ጋር በመሆን የላቀ ውጤት የሚመዘገብበት ይሆናል ብለዋል፡፡

በመጨረሻም ይህ በውስጥ አቅም በልጽጎ ወደ ተግባር የገባው ንብተራ ኦንላይን መተግበሪያና አዲሱ የሶስት አመት ስትራቴጂክ ዕቅድ በአጭር ጊዜ ውስጥ በማበልፀግና ወደ ሥራ እንዲገባ ላደረጉ የባንኩ ሠራተኞችና የሥራ ኃላፊዎች ምሰጋና ያቀረቡት የባንኩ ሥራ አስፈጻሚ ቦርድ ሊ/መንበር አቶ ሺሰማ ሸዋነካ አዲሱ የስትራቴጂክ ዕቅድ ላይ ሁሉም ባለድርሻ አካላት ምክክር አድርገውበትና ጸድቆ ወደ ሥራ መግባቱን አመልክተዋል፡፡
